savage garden.. hmm, recall only the name. (like creed or queensryche, -rieyhce, whatever)?
anyways, there's a reason pop songs are pop... tho some pop is good and a lot is awful.
the awful pop exists for the same reason that *someone* must have voted for bush/cheney..

I think thats a really good point, "no matter what somebody will like it." I will try and keep that in mind next time I'm throwing songs out willy nilly for not being up to scratch. Thanks!

Hey Kristie,

Don't worry about writer's block. I find what always works for me is to get working on whatever song I have in progress and just stick with it, through all the mental blocks, frustrations and everything...

Why?

Well every time I do that, without fail in the middle of my struggling, inspiration comes for a totally different & new song, which seems to come together in minutes.
I believe this is because the act of forcing yourself to grind through with the tough one gets your mind out of the way of some new creativity waiting to be expressed.

Now I'm not saying that these songs are always good in my case, but I'm never disappointed in the fact that I have written a new song, no matter what it is like because somebody will always like it.
Good luck.

Apart from the guitars in my bed it's tidy. I actually slept in the same bed as three guitars and a bass last night. Was too tired to kick them out lol.
